Quiltmagine Tablet Requirements

Tablet Requirements

• Windows 7, 8, 10 or higher operating system, will not work with Windows RT
• 1.66 GHz or faster processor (faster is better)
• 2 GB or more Ram (more RAM is better)
• 64 GB hard drive space with at least 2 GB available for program installation
• Minimum 1024 x 768 screen
• Screen size 10” - 12” on longest side
• Full size USB port on the tablet
• If tablet charges with the USB, two USB ports needed
• Internet connection is necessary for software registration, activation, and card access benefits. Disable internet when quilting with QM.

Version 5 Update - September 28, 2020

Updating from previous versions to Version 5 is FREE and easy to do. The update enhances the user experience and has made many functions easier. 
New functions for Pro Tier: Power Placement, Power Panto, Zone Placement with Zone Management, Last Row Crop (clip) ,new Helpand Tutorials.
New functions for Basic Tier : Power Placement, Zone Placement and Zone Manabement.  
New Gold Features : Multi-pattern Placement, Pattern eClipse, and End Point Adjust Virtual Longarm is no longer a plug-in, but a zone stitching function available to Pro Tier. Marking Tool and Fonts, formerly gold features are available without gold. With the Gold subscription, the gold features and gold patterns are unlocked. Subscription if $200 per year. To subscribe to Quiltmagine Gold, order the activation card online. 

How to Update to Version 5 (released 9/28/20)  

• Print the Online Installation Guide with photos.
• Tips:
        a) Make sure the tablet has completed all Windows updates before trying to update Quiltmagine.
        b) Unplug the USB cord from the tablet and remove the tablet from the docking station.
        c) Open Quiltmagine in simulation mode
• Follow the step by step instructions in the Installation Guide.
• When the update is complete, you are ready to use Quiltmagine Version 5. Have Fun!!!
