Multi-pattern Placement

Save time by placing more than one block at a time.  Block sizes, shapes, and types can be mixed and edited individually.  Then, on the quilting interface page (sewing page), determine the order of quilting with Optimize, and quilt the patterns one after another.  

Point-to-Point

P2P is a feature enabled with multi-pattern placement.  A continuous line pattern can be placed multiple times in adjacent spaces, such as blocks, sashing, and borders.  At the end of the placement the string of placements is tagged and becomes one pattern.  This technique is a time saving feature and one that enables pattern placement in difficult places, such as diagonal borders.

Borders and Corners

Quickly and easily place, design and quilt different styles of border corner arrangements in five easy steps.  In a matter of 3-5 minutes go from design to quilted border.  Step 1, place the border and corner, and select the border style.  Step 2, add a margin to the inside and outside of the border pattern.  Step 3, select the pattern or patterns for the arrangement.  Step 4, make pattern edits.  Step 5, check for pattern connections.  Quilt!

Fabric Compensation

By indicating where the actual seam or edge of the quilt is by placing points, QM adjusts the pattern to maintain the established margin or space accurately between the marked points and the pattern for beautiful consistent results.

Pattern eClipse

This feature could also be called "no-sew zone."  By marking around an applique, embroidery, or other space, you can select to either keep the stitching outside of the space or inside of the defined space.

Corner Maker

Not all border patterns have a companion corner pattern.  With this feature a corner pattern can be designed and edited in PatternCAD to connect to the border pattern.

Nolting directly supports Quiltmagine, has a team ready to help when needed, or, if an issue is software related will direct the customer to The Grace Company, designer of the software, for assistance.

Dealer Training

Nolting dealers are trained to provide initial QM training at delivery.  Additional training is offered at special events held at Nolting.  Online training is also available from Nolting's Automation Educator.

Program Updates

Program updates that open new features or enhancements to existing features, as well as fix bugs are free.

Seamless Installation

Installation requires the motor plate mounted to the underside of the carriage, a correctly configured Windows based tablet, and cables.  How these components connect depends on the Nolting machine model.  Installation is not difficult, however there are installation parameters that assure the system works correctly.
