The Quiltmagine Gold Card unlocks exclusive premium features and advanced tools designed to expand your creative possibilities with greater precision. It's the perfect way to gaining access to even more powerful quilting capabilities.

Multi-pattern Placement

With this feature you can place more than one block pattern at a time, then once on the quilting interface page, determine the order of quilting with Optimize and quilt the patterns one after another.  It is a time saving feature.

Point-to-Point

P2P is a feature enabled with multi-pattern placement.  A continuous line pattern can be placed multiple times in connecting spaces (blocks, sashing, borders).  At the end of the placement it is tagged as a pattern and the string of individual patterns becomes one pattern.  This is a time saving feature and one that enables pattern placement in difficult places, such as diagonal borders.

Borders and Corners

Quickly and easily place, design and quilt different styles of border corner arrangements in five easy steps.  In a matter of 3-5 minutes go from design to quilted border.  Step 1, place the border and corner, and select the border style.  Step 2, add a margin to the inside and outside of the border.  Step 3, select the pattern or patterns for the arrangement.  Step 4, make pattern edits.  Step 5, check for pattern connections.  Quilt!

Fabric Compensation

By indicating where the actual seam or edge of the quilt is by placing points, QM adjusts the pattern to maintain the established margin or space accurately between the marked points and the pattern.

Pattern eClipse

This feature could also be called "no-sew zone."  By marking around an applique, embroidery, or other space, you can select to either keep the stitching outside of the space or inside of the space.

Corner Maker

Not all border patterns have a companion corner pattern.  With this feature a corner pattern can be designed and edited in PatternCAD to connect to the border pattern.

Frequently asked questions

If I purchase either Quiltmagine or IntelliQuilter at the lower tier, can I upgrade later?

Yes, the typical upgrade to a higher tier is the difference between the cost of the tiers.  Contact your dealer or Nolting for assistance.

Can I switch from Quiltmagine to IntelliQuilter or vice versa?

It is always possible to change from one system to another, however, remember that wiring harness, connections from tablet to machine and hardware, and motors are different between the two systems.  Switching essentially would be purchasing the other system.

Can I import patterns?

Yes, both Quiltmagine and IntelliQuilter can import patterns.  When importing make sure you have the correct format of the pattern.  Quiltmagine uses .gpf, however can import a number of different file extensions and convert them to .gpf. IntelliQuilter can only import .iqp or .dxf.

Can I quilt hand-guided too?

Absolutely.  Many quilters enjoy combining hand-guided quilting with automation.  Both QM and iQ can easily switch from automation to hand-guided.  With Quiltmagine, both the vertical and horizontal belt must be loosened.  To go to hand-guided with IntelliQuilter, tap on the "Manual" button found on a number of screens.

What training is included?

The training you receive depends on who you purchase automation from.  If purchasing from a dealer, ask for the details on training with either QM or iQ.  If purchasing from Nolting, we offer several training packages.  Ask for the details.
